For a first time in NOLA and Mardi Gras, this place did not disappoint. Each highlight of this centralized location made the experience worth while. Kenji's sushi is sensational as the perfect start to the trip (wish I had some before I left). Loa-the French 76 is my new unforgettable favorite. But the most memorable part of trip was interacting with Chris H at the front desk. His hospitality was one of warmth, considerable recommendations and sense of community. The entire staff was welcoming-an experience I can't wait to repeat.

We stayed here during Mardi Gras and our experience with the hotel and staff were amazing. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly, and location was perfect. It’s next to everything but not on a busy street. Christopher Hawkins was an employee who went above and beyond for us - ensuring we had an amazing time during Mardi Gras. We will definitely be back!!

So the “communal coffee pot” in the lobby was out of service at 6:15 am, I’m down there in my bathrobe and damn near ready to die at the prospect of caffeine withdrawals when I heard the news. Christopher at the front desk dug in his pocket and gave me $20 to go get coffee across the street so I didn’t have to go back up to my room to get money. Walked me out the door showed me where to go so I wouldn’t get lost. I’m like “but I’m in my bathrobe!” He gave me a pep talk and was like don’t worry about it you’re fine. Go get your coffee love! I felt empowered, he had my back, helped me keep my priorities in check. Coffee or DIE! As a lady from Massachusetts I would also just like to say these heroics would never happen in Boston. The hotel itself is a solid B+ but the customer service? Wow. If management is reading this review, Christopher deserves a raise and a promotion!

Andrew truly set the tone for our stay. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was spectacular warm & genuine. His hospitality is outstanding and immediately made us feel at home. It felt like the start of a small vacation in the best way, and now we’re even more excited for the rest of the week. Huge thanks to Andrew for making such a great first impression.

Awesome customer service it was issue with canceling my room reserved and then upgraded me .Leslie administration went out her way to accommodate me by surprise of piano In room. Very slick being my birthday . I did choose International due to ambiance of decor added terrace for smoking gave me a glimpse in mist of parades and people during Mardi Gras .Christopher Hawkins went above and beyond with service referring to events ,eateries and places to visit for me to have wonderful memories . Also catered to extra things like they held my cake and decorations for personal celebration and I appreciated that . Actual party just for me & only me .They made sure I was comfortable .Relaxed in bed , soothing bubbles & whine, peace + serenity . Love the bar selection and meeting the people passing through as well. I did have hot coffee wish penthouse had food service and maybe personal massagers but awesome stay over all.The best was seeing exhibits of art displays each day. Gave me someone to look into and see due to eluding me and such in tune with visual in art. Next time I will get pictures of moment there other than my celebration video of me. Thank you for really giving me a good bday and weekend visit this year.

We recently hosted our 2025 National 811 Liaison Conference at this hotel, and I felt compelled to share our experience. I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but the level of service we received here deserves to be recognized. From the moment planning began, the sales staff and management team, especially Amanda and Sophia, were exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure every one of our attendees had what they needed to fully enjoy the conference. Christopher at the front desk made check-in seamless and welcoming. Abigail, who managed the Loa hotel bar, was not only wonderful to work with, but her hospitality and craft cocktails were the highlight of many conversations among our attendees. We received so many compliments throughout the week that I could hardly keep track of them all. To top it off, the owner of the hotel personally came to speak at our event—a gesture that spoke volumes about the pride and care behind this establishment. Our outside caterer did an excellent job, and the A/V team on site was professional and attentive. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. I will be hosting all of our future New Orleans conferences at this hotel for as long as I’m in charge. The experience here rivals some of the finest hotels I’ve stayed in—on the level of Ritz-Carlton hospitality and service. One note: I didn’t sleep particularly well, but that was simply because I’m used to quiet country nights, not city lights. The bed itself was extremely comfortable. If you’re considering a location that offers something special, memorable, and truly guest-focused for your conference or event—I highly recommend this hotel.
